    Itinerary

    DAY 1: Arrival and Sarajevo city tour

    Arrival, accomodation and lunch at Baščaršija (Old Town city center).

    After lunch, visit to the Old Town center from the 15th Century (Baščaršija, Gazi Husref-bey's Mosque, Gazi-Husref-bey's bezistan – market, Sebilj, Svrzina's house, City Hall, Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Latin bridge – Princip's bridge, Morića Han, House of Sevdah, Avaz Tower).

    Free time. Dinner and overnight stay in Sarajevo.


    DAY 2: Mountain-biking tour (Igman – Bjelašnica - Lukomir)

    After breakfast, we will depart via organized transport to the Igman Olympic Mountain. We will rent equipment and start the biking tour on a macadam-asphalt path up to the highest village of BiH,  Lukomir. During the tour, you can enjoy the Olympic mountains of Igman and Bjelašnica, as well as the untouched nature of Lukomir village. The length of the tour is around 25 km and lasts around 3 hrs, depending on the tempo of the bike ride. Then we have lunch and a touristic visit of Lukomir, including a visit to the Bosnian tomb-stone necropolis and the Pruće waterfall. Overnight stay and dinner are organized in Lukomir.

    All necessary equipment for the mountain-biking tour is provided (mountain bike, helmet, backpack and water bottle). Participants need to provide their own clothing, shoes and additional clothing for change.


    DAY 3: Mountain-biking tour (Lukomir – Visočica - Boračko lake)

    After breakfast, we will rent equipment and start the mountain-biking tour on a macadam road over the Studeni creek to the village of Umoljani. After a short break, we continue the tour via asphalt over the Visočica Mountain to Boračko Lake, the mountain-eye of Herzegovina. Lunch is organized in a restaurant by the Neretva River. The tour lasts 7 hours, depending on tempo. Overnight stay and dinner are organized at Boračko Lake.

    All necessary equipment for the mountain-biking tour is provided (mountain bike, helmet, backpack and a water bottle). The participants need to bring their own clothing and shoes, as well as additional clothes for change.


    DAY 4: Mountain-biking tour (Sovići – Šćit, Ramsko lake – Blidinje nature park)

    After breakfast, we will departure via organized transport to the starting point of the mountain-biking tour, the village of Sovići. We will rent equipment and start the mountain-biking tour on a macadam path to Ramsko Lake and the Franciscan monastery Šćit. We will have a tour of the monastery, and continue to Blidinje Nature Park. During the tour, you can see the Bosnian tomb-stone necropolis, while we continue along the ride, enjoying the untouched nature. Pause for lunch at the restaurant "Hajdučke Vrleti" and a tourist visit. Duration of the tour is 6 hours, depending on the tempo of the ride. Dinner and overnight stay are organized in Konjic.

    DAY 5: Mountain-biking tour (Boračko lake – Ruište – Potoci - Mostar)

    After breakfast, we will rent equipment and start the mountain-biking tour from Boračko Lake on a macadam-asphalt path to the Ruište Mountain (break for lunch). During the ride, you'll have a beautiful view of Boračko Lake. You can also visit the Bosnian tomb-stone necropolis from the 15th Century. We will continue travelling along the right bank of the Neretva River to Mostar, where we will arrive in front of the Old Bridge. This mountain-biking tour has been recognized as one of National Geographic magazine's top 10 must-visit destinations in Europe. Duration of the tour is around 5 hours, depending on the tempo of the ride. Overnight stay and dinner are organized in Mostar.

    DAY 6: Herzegovina biking tour (Mostar – Međugorje - Kravice waterfalls – Počitelj - Blagaj)

    Breakfast.We will depart to Mostar via organized transport and start the biking tour to Međugorje, which we will tour. Međugorje, famous for the sighting of the apparition of the Virgin Mary, is now a Catholic pilgrimage site. After a visit to Međugorje, we depart to Kravice Waterfalls. Kravice is a natural phenomenon similar to Niagara Fall; water falls along 150 m from a height of 30 m, creating a loud sound and pearl rain. Lunch, free time and taking pictures on the waterfalls.

    On our way back, we will visit the medieval ottoman city of Počitelj, placed on the left bank of Neretva. This is where Bosnian King Tvrtko built a fortress in 1383, and was later conquered by Ottomans from 1471 to 1878, as witnessed by numerous monuments from the Ottoman era. Arrival to Blagaj, the medieval town located on the Buna River, which was once part of Zachlumia country. After the mid-15th Century, it became today's Herzegovina region. On the cliffs above the Buna spring is the strategically-placed fortress of Herceg Stjepan Kosača, looking over the beautiful panoramic view of the Neretva valley. Departure to Mostar, where we will visit the city's cultural-historical monuments, including: the Old Bridge (UNESCO), Old Town (Kujundžiluk), Kriva ćuprija, Karađoz-bey's mosque, towers Tara and Halebija, and the Museum of Herzegovina. Dinner and overnight stay are organized in Mostar.

    All necessary equipment for biking is provided (mountain bike, helmet, backpack, water bottle). Participants need to provide clothing and shoes, as well as additional clothes for change.


    DAY 7: Mountain-biking tour (Čapljina – Hutovo Blato – Hutovo – Vjetrenica (Zavala)

    After breakfast, we depart via organized transport to the starting point of the mountain-biking tour: the Višići village in Čapljina. We will rent equipment and start the tour on a macadam path along Hutovo Blato, the natural park and bird reserve, to the village of Hutovo. During the tour, you can see the old Ćiro-railway, bridges and tunnels, as well as a phenomenal view of Hutovo Blato. Arrival to the Vjetrenica cave and tourist visit. Pause for lunch at the restaurant "Zavala" and organized transport back to Mostar. Duration of this tour is about 6 hours depending on the tempo of the ride. Overnight stay and dinner are organized in Mostar.

    DAY 8: Departure

    After breakfast, guests depart via organized transport to the International Airport in Sarajevo.
